We have never taken professional photographs together, will this be a problem?
Not at all! Most of my clients don't have any experience with photoshoots and in my opion this is actually great because we tend to get more natural moments. I will guide you through every step and teach you a few tips and tricks like where to place your hands and where to land those kisses.
What should we wear?
I recommend that you start by selecting a base of 2-3 colors and carry those through the outfits so that everything “goes” together but doesn’t match. Keep in mind that the colors you choose for each family member do not have to match, but they should look nice together. Mix neutrals with some accent colors. Neutral colors create a soft and elegant style, and will give your images a timeless feel.
Can I choose my own backdrop colour?
Yes, you are welcome to choose between the available options in my studio when you book a 60min session but for 30min mini sessions the backdrop will be limited to the option of the day. All backdrop colours are choosen to compliment a variety of outfits and skintones.
How will we receive our photos?
Your portrait session images will be delivered via a password protected online gallery where the high and low resolution photographs can be downloaded and shared with family & friends. You are more than welcome to order a USB at an additional cost.
How many images can we expect?
For The Full Experience, 60min shoot unlike other photographers, I don’t have a limit of images I deliver from your session, instead I try and give you all the worthy ones (that are not duplicates or unflattering). I usually shoot around 60-120 images per hour depending on the time schedule and flow of the day. For a 30 min session you will receive 20 images from the session with an option to purchase more after you've seen your Online Gallery.
Do you offer a special rate when we want all our family milestones photographed?
Yes, I offer a discount on sessions if two or more sessions with me, please get in touch for more details.
Do you offer mini sessions and how do they work?
Yes, I offer mini sessions for milestone sessions, families and maternity photos. These sessions take place during the week at my studio with limited weekend dates available. You receive 20 images from the session with an option to purchase more after you've seen your online gallery.
How do we book you as our photographer?
Start off by getting in touch via my contact page, once you have decided that having me as your photographer is exactly what you’re looking, the next step is a securing the date for your shoot by paying the 50% non refundable booking fee.
