The Process

Every wedding is unique, let’s talk about your vision and if needed craft a custom package that perfectly aligns with this.


Your wedding photographer is so much more than just a lens and a clicking shutter! This is the person who you will probably be spending the most time with on your wedding day, witnessing and capturing intimate moments from one of the most significant and emotional days of your life.


After more than a decade of photographing weddings, I understand the importance of having a connection with my couples.


That’s why the process begins with a conversation (in person or video call), we’ll get to know each other, talk about your expectations and the details of your day, answer any questions you might have about working with me, and figure out if we’re a good fit.

The Process

Once I have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that having me as your photographer is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, the next step is securing your date!


When you are ready to book your date you will receive a wedding agreement which you should carefully read through and sign online. You will also receive an invoice with the amount of your chosen package. By paying the 50% non refundable booking fee of the total amount of your chosen package your date is secured.


Please note that pencil bookings cannot be guaranteed until a deposit is received and that only 15 bookings are available per year!

The Process

We can schedule the pre-wedding meet up at any time after you’ve secured your date.


During this meet up we will go over all the important details before the big day. We'll discuss the wedding day timeline, review specific photography requests, and ensure I have a clear understanding of your desired shots.


This is also the perfect time to show you the different album options I offer, so you can choose the best way to preserve your wedding memories.


The goal is to make sure everything is in place for a smooth, stress-free photography experience, leaving you to enjoy your special day

WHAT TO EXPECT


The Process

It’s finally here!

Your wedding day is going to be a whirlwind of emotions, and as your photographer, I'm there to capture every special moment without disrupting the flow.

I'll start by arriving early to photograph the little details—your dress, shoes, rings, and those candid getting-ready moments with your bridal party.


From there, I’ll move seamlessly through the day, capturing everything from the excitement of your first look (if you’re having one) to the emotion of walking down the aisle.

During the ceremony, I’ll stay as unobtrusive as possible while making sure to document all the key moments—the vows, the exchange of rings, and that all-important first kiss.

Afterward, we’ll gather for family portraits and couple photos, but don’t worry, I’ll guide you through it so it feels natural and fun.


At the reception, I'll catch those joyful, unscripted moments—laughter, tears, and, of course, the dance floor magic.

By the end of the night, you’ll have a beautiful collection of memories to look back on, full of emotion, love, and celebration. It’s your day, and my goal is to capture it exactly as it happens - authentically and beautifully.

The Process

After the wedding, the excitement doesn’t stop!

Within a week or two, I’ll send you a sneak peek of your wedding photos - a handful of beautiful moments to relive the day while you're still basking in the newlywed glow.

Your full gallery will be ready within 8–10 weeks, beautifully edited, and available online for you to view and share with family and friends.


Once you’ve had a chance to preview your gallery, we’ll set up a time to talk about designing your album. If your package includes an album, we’ll go over your favorite images and work together to create a layout that tells the story of your day.


If an album isn’t included in your investment, no worries—we can still discuss options to create the perfect keepsake for your wedding memories.

FAQ'S

 

Do you travel for weddings and ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?

Yes, I do! I am based in the West Coast region of the Western Cape, but I love to travel and experience new places. I travel at my own cost for weddings within the WC. For weddings outside this area, travel will be charged p/km or a fight ticket but please contact me for a custom quote.

Accommodation (more than 100 km from our farm in Piketberg) for me & my assistant are not included. If your wedding is more than 250km from our farm, accommodation for the night before and wedding night will be required.

*No accommodation is required for Pretoria / Johannesburg weddings.

What equipment do you shoot with?

I shoot with Canon 5D Mark IV full frame body and a top of the line prime and zoom lenses. I also use a flash during the reception when needed.

Do your packages include an engagement shoot?

Most of my investments include an engagement shoot.


Engagement sessions is a wonderful way for us to get to know each other a little and for me to give you guidance where needed during the shoot so that when your wedding day arrives, you can just focus on each other and taking in every little detail without being worried about the awkwardness of a camera following you a round the entire day.


*An engagement shoot can be added to your investment at any stage if not already included. I've done shoot 18 months in advance and even days before the wedding for couples outside of South Africa

How do you accept payment?

Payments can be made via EFT or credit card via Payfast/ Yoco at an additional fee.
